Why "Nectary"?

In nature, the nectary is the part of a flower that produces nectar -- the substance that attracts pollinators. Pollinators visit the flower, collect what they need, and in doing so enable the entire ecosystem to thrive.

That is exactly what we do. Nectary is the bridge between the flowers (SaaS tools) and the pollinators (the consultants and implementation partners who make those tools work). Your project is the garden, and our job is to ensure the right connections happen so your ecosystem flourishes.

Founded by David McCandless

Nectary was founded by David McCandless, a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket (BS '15, MS '20), who saw firsthand the challenges companies face when selecting technology partners. After years of helping organizations navigate the SaaS ecosystem through McCandless Consulting, the vision for Nectary became clear: build a platform that makes ecosystem intelligence accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford weeks of research.
